There is no overwhelming requirement for members of this site. We want to support the work that the projects featured here require, and therefor there will not be any intensive projects to distract members from their own goals.

However, there will be small projects for members to participate in, which will help to spread the news of the site and its members' projects. Projects may include annual small-press publications, featuring poetry, short stories, and compact comic strips. Ideas are brainstormed by members in the members area.

Each member is expected to continue working on their projects, and to update the "news & events" page through the LiveJournal blog service when signficant updates are made to their site or when their work is available in some published format (book, prints, PDF documents, etc).

Also, members are expected to help support the network on this site by providing links on their own pages, the site's URL printed in published works, and wherever else seems appropriate. Use of the Autochthonic logo, wherever plausible, is also encouraged. By building the visibility of this site, you not only help yourself, but most importantly, you help the other members here and support the community's goals.
