Native was conceived of in mid-2003 by artist and author R. Korol.

The story could be most-accurately classified as Science Fiction, as it involves a wide range of less-than-likely situations, aside from the anthro cast, ranging from alien invaders to viscious dinosaurs.

The comic currently posts as a web comic on the website. It will be printed in graphic novel format when the primary story arc is complete.
It is also likely that additional 'shorts' starring the cast of Native will be published separately from the main plot novel.
